Design Challenges

Key challenges included optimizing the layout to ensure privacy for the master suite while maintaining open social areas, maximizing mountain views from key interior spaces, and integrating natural ventilation and sunlight in a compact footprint. Additionally, the site’s topography and the prominence of being one of the first homes in the area required careful planning to enhance visual connection with the surroundings while preserving long-term privacy.
